In 1982, Carl Burchfiel began his career as a general engineering and building contractor providing site development and building services.

In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, the staff grew to include architects, in addition to office and field personnel. The growth allowed Stillpoint, Inc. to sponsor a student intern program through the University of Cincinnati’s School of Architecture.  Their interns were provided hands-on experience in many aspects of architecture and the building process.  From design through construction, they provided detailed drawings and developed decision making skills as they met with clients, material suppliers, subcontractors, tradesmen and building officials. Many participated in on-site construction projects. 

In 2000, Carl incorporated and became Stillpoint, Inc. 

Today, Stillpoint, Inc. continues to provide excellent work on projects of all sizes incorporating a select group of subcontractors and associates.
